Hi there! My name's Jasmine.
To tell you a smidge about myself, I’m first and foremost a daughter of God, and am wife to the most incredible man on the planet, Isaac. We have a hyper fluff of a dog named Hugo and hope to have a family of our own someday soon. Having both grown up in Colorado Springs, we decided to stay here after we got married and still never get tired of the stunning beauty of the mountains, the blue skies, and the sunshine.
I'm a firm believer that there is such immense beauty and goodness and purpose in life that is worth celebrating. Celebrating people is one of my favorite things to do, and always has been, whether that's through throwing surprise parties for birthdays, seeking to find the perfect Christmas or wedding gift for loved ones, bringing meals to people, or simply opening our home up for others to come share a meal and laughter.
Celebrating matters because people matter, and I've found that one of the best ways to help people remember that they have inherent value and beauty that is worth celebrating is through the lens of a camera, capturing both the big and small moments that should be treasured for years to come. Whether it's celebrating an engagement, welcoming a new child, marking the start of a new season, or simply celebrating the beauty of being alive, I love photography because it's an opportunity come alongside others in some of the most sacred and beautiful moments of their lives, giving them a way to treasure and keep treasuring the joy of those moments as time goes on.
Apart from photography, some of my favorite things include a strong cup of English tea, a rainy afternoon with a quality book, roses, any of Molly Thompson's recipes, and the Chipotle Chicken flatbread from the Tropical Smoothie Cafe. If I could live in a small cottage somewhere in the countryside of the UK, that would be the ultimate dream, but in the meantime I'm content to travel as often as we're able! I'm also a rather huge fan of almost any sitcom made before 1970 (call me if you ever want to binge I Love Lucy, I have the whole series on DVD) and all things Harry Potter.
