Brittin Lane

Palmer Park | Colorado Springs, CO

Brittin is one of the strongest people I know. Having walked through some deep valleys, including a traumatic brain injury, the Scripture she clings to is this:

To grant to those who mourn in Zion— to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified." —Isaiah 61:3

She is a living, breathing example of God's faithfulness to bring beauty from ashes, and as her older sister, I'm immensely proud of the ways she fights for truth and walks with compassion.
